Larry Christopherson

Larry Christopherson, 44, of Wasilla died in a rafting accident on Montana creek. He was celebrating his own birthday doing what he loved best, fly-fishing for trout. In his youth, he traveled the lower 48 looking for adventure. He found work building cell phone towers. In 1994 he began to miss Alaska and returned. After his return to the state he met and married Jodi Hunt and later they welcomed their beautiful daughter Isabel Mary Christopherson in to the world in 2010. He loved Alaska and never wanted to miss an opportunity to spend time on the river fishing. He worked with Partusch Plumbing where he learned commercial plumbing. He later worked for Plumbers and Pipefitters local 367. His friends will remember Larry as quick witted and kind hearted. He is survived by his wife Jodi, 6 year old daughter Izzi, Mother Ruby Christopherson and Sister Suzanne Klaben.
