A celebration of life potluck for Larry E. Fine will be held at 4 p.m., Wednesday, August 12 at Wasilla Senior Center with the Rev. Jim McConville of Eagle River presiding.
Mr. Fine left us on May 3, 2015, in Maui, Hawaii, where he lived in the winter months. He was 75.
He lived a wonderful productive, well-traveled, working life as a carpenter, welder, driver, miner, on the North Slope and many Alaska roads.
In his retirement, 12 years ago, he was a paddler in Kihei, Hawaii, where he resided with his wife Mara.
He was preceded in death by father, Lester; brother, Marty; and son, Mario.
Surviving are his mother, LaVerne Fine; wife, Maricruz Fine; sisters, Phyllis Riel, Diann Berry, and Joan Fine; daughter, Erica Nelson and Julie Fine; sons, Sean Rolnick and Joseph Fine; 11 grandchildren; and six great grandchildren.
His ashes will be dispersed at Independence Mine following the celebration of life. Bring stories and memories.
