Retiring teacher, coach urges Colony grads to ‘find their 68’

LB passed away at home surrounded by family. LB was born in Portland, Oregon and moved to Minnesota when he was two years old. LB married Linda in 1982 and they moved to Ketchikan, Alaska. In 1983 they moved to Wasilla and he lived there until he passed. He was survived by his wife Linda of 40 years; his sister’s Evelyn Larson and Cathy Wheat; his sons, Travis, Dallas, Harly, Louis, Lonnie, Levi, Lee and Austin; daughters, Nicki and Lydia, and their spouses. He had many nieces and nephews, and grandchildren and great grandchildren. LB served in the Navy and went on to be a heavy equipment operator for the I.B.E.W. for 33 years. He also cut a lot of wood in his day! He loved family, friends, gardening, camping and fishing. He was loved by many. He was proceeded in death by his father (Clyde), mother (Evelyn) and his brother LD.
