Alaska resident and Army specialist Lee Michael Hodsdon passed away May 29, 2014, at his home in Palmer.
A celebration of life is at 3 p.m., June 8, at American Legion Post 15, in Palmer.
Lee was born April 26, 1988, in Palmer to Patti and Mike Hodsdon, and his sister, Lindsay.
He graduated from the Military Youth Academy at Fort Richardson, Anchorage, in 2005. He served a tour in Iraq, and received a Purple Heart while fighting for his country. He considered his comrades brothers and loved them like family. He lived his life bravely and cherished time spent with family and friends. His kind heart and love for children will be remembered by all.
Surviving are his mother, Patti Hodsdon; father, Mike Hodsdon; sister, Lindsay Hodsdon; and a large extended family including grandparents, aunts, uncles and cousins from Palmer, Soldotna and Anchorage.
