Valley resident Leesa Payne, 59, passed away suddenly at Mat-Su Regional Hospital on Feb. 7, 2015, in Palmer.
Celebration of life is at 11 a.m., Feb. 14 at Tree of Life Church, 555 N Gulkana St., Palmer. Paul Steiner will officiate.
Leesa was born on June 5, 1955, in Bellevue, Washington. She earned a Bachelor’s Degree at the University of Washington. She moved to Alaska on Aug. 15, 2002. She enjoyed camping, skiing, fishing, dogs, and was a member of the Seahawks fan club.
Leesa was a special person that loved and cared for other people very deeply. She will be greatly missed.
Leesa is survived by husband, Ron Payne of Wasilla; son, Joel Payne of Wasilla; and daughter, Katelyn Payne of Wasilla.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Ann Marie Zahn; and father, Harold Robert Zahn.
Arrangements were cared for by Valley Funeral Home, Wasilla Chapel.
