Lee Stahl passed away March 10, 2014, at Washington Memorial Hospital in Seattle after a long, hard battle with illness.
Lee was born Oct. 24 1950, in Seattle, Wash., and came to Alaska in 1980. He later made his mark in the Valley.
Lee is survived by his parents, Calvin and Phyllis Stahl; life partner, Laura Godwin; son, Vance Stahl; step-daughter, Tanya Klevasadle; brothers Calvin Stahl, Lenny Edwards and McKenny Edwards; and sisters, Sherry Stahl, Denise Stahl, Deana Hastings and Bonny Lewis.
Lee liked hunting, flying his plane, fishing and camping with friends, Lee was a gentle man with a kind heart, lived life to the fullest, made many friends and will be missed by everyone he touched.
There will be a gathering to celebrate Lee’s life for friends and family at a later date at the Palmer Moose Lodge.
