Retiring teacher, coach urges Colony grads to ‘find their 68’

Former longtime Alaska resident and Colony Family member Leslie Vos, 53, died Nov. 25 after a long, courageous battle with cancer. She was born Nov. 17, 1956 in Anchorage.
She is survived by her husband, Vaughn Vos; children Charlie James, Timothy James, Bryan James, Josie Vos-Tuohy, and Noah Vos; numerous grandchildren; parents Mary Ada and Milton Peery; and numerous other members of her large, loving family.
A small family service will be held in the spring at Palmer Pioneer Cemetery where her remains will be interred.
