Our beloved angel Leticia Ann Faller, 28 was taken from us tragically and suddenly in the early hours of Nov. 10, 2014, at Alaska Regional Hospital. Her last moments were shared with family.

Services are at 3 p.m., Nov. 16 at the Palmer Train Depot, 645 E. Cope Industrial Way, Palmer. Visitation is prior to the service from 1:30 to 2:30 p.m., at the Palmer Train Depot.

Leticia was born in Palmer to Leroy and Desiree Faller on Dec. 5, 1985. Although she was a lifelong resident of the Butte, she lived in Washington for a short time before returning; her love for Alaska was too great. She attended school in Palmer and later it was her desire and proud accomplishment to attend the Military Youth Academy.

She married Rivet Dakutak in 2003, becoming stepmother to Rivet’s son, Sammie Dakutak. Their daughter, Hope, joined their family in 2007. Sammie and Hope were the light of Leticia’s life. Being a mother was her greatest joy in life, and she took much pride in those moments. She loved her children and never missed the opportunity to perfectly plan and coordinate parties for her them and family.

Leticia worked as a waitress at various places over her short years, taking much pride and joy at being fast and efficient at her job. Her beautiful heart, warm soul and vivacious smile will be missed in the hearts of many.

Leticia is survived by her husband, Rivet Dakutak; her children, Hope and Sammie Dakutak; mother, Desiree Faller; father and stepmother, LeRoy and Kathy Faller; sisters, Gigi (Michael) Cochran and Tonya Faller-Naquin (Shane Barber); brother, Jim (Missy) Stone; nephews, Kristopher (Lynice) Firey, Ryan (Autumn) Wright, Kyle Pealatere, Justice Stone, Bodhi Dakutak; nieces, Spirit Stone and Tacona Dukutak; grandmother, Laura Buchanan; along with many cousins and friends.

Preceding her in death were her grandparents, George Faller, Gene Buchanan and Wesly and Ann Stephens; and her nephew Levi Wright.

Funeral arrangements were entrusted to Cremation Society of Alaska. Words of comfort may be shared with the family at alaskacremation.com.
