Linda L. Udenberg, 57, died Aug. 20, 2012, from lung cancer at her Wasilla home.
Private services are planned.
Linda was born Nov. 30, 1954, in York, Neb. She completed the 11th grade and came to Alaska in 1974. She lived in Anchorage from 1974 to 1983, in Palmer from 1985 to 1994, and Wasilla from 1993 to 1995 and again from 1994 to 2012. She was employed by Tesoro in Wasilla for more than 10 years. She was a member of Muldoon Community Assembly of God Church.
“She was a true Alaskan woman who enjoyed fishing, camping and the outdoors,” her family wrote.
Surviving are her father and mother, Howard L. Smith and Betty J. Smith; daughters, Christine Phillips and Samantha Hudon; brother, Howard E. Smith; and sister, Karen Downs, all of Anchorage; significant other, Greg Udenberg of Wasilla; and grandchildren, Samson and Luke Phillips, and Ivory and Angel Hudon.
Arrangements are with Alaskan Heritage Memorial Chapel and Crematory of Wasilla.
