Linda M.E. Yannikos, 71, passed away June 4, 2023, in Tacoma, Washington surrounded by family. Born in Mt. Ida, Arkansas, Linda was the daughter of Jack and Berniece Key. Linda moved to Alaska in 1975. She attended the university of Fairbanks for Nursing. On 8/22/1977 Linda went to work in Valdez for Alyeska Pipeline, where she retired 1/15/1998. Linda enjoyed sewing, traveling, and spending time with her family. She was a loving mother, wife, sister and friend. Linda will be laid to rest in the family cemetery in Palmer.
Linda is survived by her husband Pete together 47 years, son James, 3 brothers, Garry, Jimmy, and Lon Allen, 4 stepchildren, 16 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren.
A memorial service to celebrate the life of Linda will be Saturday July 15, 2023. 3PM at Pizza Athena.
