Retiring teacher, coach urges Colony grads to ‘find their 68’

Lisa Jenson, 58, of Palmer passed away Feb. 15, 2015.
Lisa was born in Spokane, Washington, Sept. 6, 1956. Lisa moved to Alaska in 1980, with her husband Dwayne Jenson.
Lisa was a Stephen Ministry and was a school nurse for 25 years. She was a really proud member of the Well Armed Woman. Lisa’s love of family was strong and unending.
She was a lover, advocate, and rescuer of animals.
Lisa is survived by her husband of 38 years, Dwayne Jenson; sons Clay and Corey Jenson of Palmer; birth mother, Charlene Alderman of Spokane Washington; sisters, Roxanne McAdams of Baker City, Oregon and Jan Isakson of Bothell, Washington; and brother, Mitch Alderman of Spokane Washington.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Kenneth Gahley and Verna Scott Gahley.
Lisa donated the gift of her organs so others could live.
Services are at 2 p.m., Feb. 21 at St. John Lutheran, Palmer. A reception will follow.
Lisa was loved by all who knew her and will be missed.
