Retiring teacher, coach urges Colony grads to ‘find their 68’

Lisa Marie O’Brien, 47, died Oct. 15, 2010, after a long struggle against pancreatic cancer.
Generous and kind in death as she was in life, Lisa donated her eyes to the Lions Club Eye Bank who, which has, in conjunction with Baylor College, passed them on to someone in need.
Lisa was a longtime resident of Alaska where she worked on the oil spill and was a member of the Houston City Council. More recently Lisa lived in Webster Springs, W. Va., where she was an active community volunteer and former President of the Humane Society.
She is survived by her husband, Dannie O’Brien; mother, Joann Shirley of Houston; son, Christopher Noftsger; and brother, John Shirley of Anchorage.
