Lois Ann Hansen, 72, died Feb. 13, 2010, at her Wasilla home.
A memorial service was held Feb. 27 at King’s Chapel Alaska, with Pastor Daniel Bracken officiating. A potluck followed the service.
Lois was born in Seward on Aug. 16, 1937, to Henry and Agnes Martinson Horton. She had been employed as a bartender.
Her family wrote, “Our mom and friend will always be remembered by her noteworthy smile and laugh. Her fiery spirit and caring ways will be eternally missed.”
She was preceded in death by her brother, Glen Horton, and sister, Shirley Smith.
Survivors are her husband, Roy Louis Hansen; daughters, Kathy D. Gibson, Misty K. Fuller, Jamie N. Quinn and Domonique R. Hansen; son, Mark A. Richardson; stepson, Calvin Hansen; grandsons, Robert C. Goodwin, James M. Harwood, Daniel C. Kerlee and Duke Bennett-Gibson; granddaughters, Rachel A. Kerlee and Kylee K. Quinn; brother, Andrew C.Horton; and sister, Sharron Major.
Arrangements are with Alaskan Heritage Memorial Chapel & Crematory of Wasilla.
