Loretta Ann McCarthy, 82, of Palmer passed away on Sept. 14, 2017, at Mat-Su Regional Hospital in Palmer, Alaska. Loretta was born May 7, 1935, in Detroit, Michigan, and has been living in Alaska since October 28, 1965.
She is survived by daughters: Reggie Belden (Gene) and Deborah McCarthy (Rob Herrett), son: Robert L McCarthy (Becky), 10 grandchildren and 20 great grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her daughter, Loretta McCarthy.
“Our mother was a happy person. She will be remembered by so many people for her lovely voice.”
Services will be held at St. Michael’s Parish in Palmer, where she attended, on Sept. 20, 2017 at 12 p.m. Father Jaime Mencias will be officiating. Arrangements have been entrusted to Legacy Funeral Homes, Kehl’s Palmer Chapel.
