Louise M. Cunningham, 69, died Jan. 27, 2008, at Mat-Su Regional Medical Center in Palmer.
A memorial service is scheduled for 1 p.m. today, Feb. 1 at the Wasilla Chapel of Valley Funeral Home, 151 E. Herning Ave. Pastor Fred Stroud will officiate.
Cunningham was born July 27, 1938, in North Powder, Ore., where she attended high school before coming to Alaska on May 21, 1960, living in various locations, working as a lodge manager throughout the state before finally settling in Wasilla.
She is survived by her husband, Gary, of Wasilla; sons Rod of Port Orchard, Wash., and Mark of Fairbanks; two grandsons; one granddaughter; and one great-granddaughter.
Valley Funeral Homes & Crematory of Wasilla and Palmer is assisting the family.
