Retiring teacher, coach urges Colony grads to ‘find their 68’

Wasilla resident Lukas Loki Lindholm, 21, died at home on July 4, 2008.
A memorial service will be held at 6 p.m. Thursday, July 17 at Lamb of God Lutheran Church, 1221 N. Church Road in Wasilla, with the Rev. Norm Wagner officiating.
Lindholm was born Sept. 14, 1986, in Frankfurt, West Germany. He was a resident of Wasilla since 1989. He received his GED and was a 2003 graduate of the Alaska Military Youth Academy. He had enlisted in the U.S. Marine Corps and was scheduled to enter the corps in October. He was an avid reader, enjoyed animals, fishing and games and loved music.
His family said: “He enjoyed helping people with nothing asked in return. He will be missed and remembered.”
Survivors are his father Gary N. Lindholm of Wasilla; mother Stephanie Peterson of Wasilla; brothers Travis M. Lindholm and Erik T. Lindholm of Wasilla; grandmothers Stella D. Ralph and Louise Valandra of Minnesota; and many aunts, uncles and
cousins.
He was preceded in death by brother Miles N. Lindholm; and grandparents Thomas C. Ralph, and Oren W. and Janet Lindholm.
Arrangements are with Alaskan Heritage Memorial Chapel & Crematory.
