Lyle G. Keck

Wasilla resident Lyle G. Keck, 66, went to see the Lord on April 10, 2008. A memorial service has been held.

Keck was born Feb. 23, 1942 in Aurora, Ill., to Lyle Chaunce Keck and Evelyn (Elizabeth) Keck. He graduated high school in 1960 in Aurora. He married Betty Thompson in 1968. He moved to Alaska in 1995 from Illinois.

He will be truly missed by friends and family, they wrote.

He is survived by his daughter Tamara Keck-Jackson from Wasilla; step-children Scotty Bayer of Streator, Ill., Christina Nickalus of Columbus, Ohio, and Tiffany Bayer of Clarksville, Tenn.; brothers David Keck of Sacramento, Calif., Ted Keck of Palmer and Dan Keck of Anchorage (who passed away April 13); sisters Bonnie Utt of Winston-Salem, N.C., Rozane Foster of Saluda, Va., and Debbie Cordero of Sutton; and three granddaughters and grandsons.

Arrangements are with Alaskan Heritage Memorial Chapel & Crematory.
