Lynne M. Peterson, 55, went to sleep peacefully at home Aug. 25, 2014, holding her husband’s hand. Lynne battled ovarian cancer for seven years.
At the time of her passing, Mrs. Robinson was playing on the stereo and within minutes six swans, more than 40 ducks appeared in our front yard pond and a bald eagle flew overhead toward the only visible blue patch in the rainy sky. Truly, Lynne was always full of vibrant life!
Lynne loved all outdoor activities, especially mountaineering and technical rock and ice climbing and of course she loved horses! Lynne is peacefully sleeping awaiting her promised resurrection onto the coming beautiful paradise earth under Christ’s rule.
Lynne is survived by her husband Jason A. Peterson; sons, Forest and Sky Peterson; sister, Diane Barry; brother, Patrick Barry; nephews, Thamen and Duncan Barry; niece, Marni Beauchain; and grandson, Vincent Peterson.
Lynne’s memorial service is at 1 p.m., Sept. 6 at the Jehovah’s Witnesses Wasilla Kingdom Hall.
Arrangements were made with Alaskan Heritage Memorial Chapel and Crematory.
