Marcella Elaine Wilbur, 73, of Wasilla passed away on Tuesday, July 11, 2017, at Mat-Su Regional Hospital. She was born July 7, 1944, in Belegrade Village, Minnesota, to Marvin and Nora Milbrett. Marcella married Carl Wilbur in 1963 they made their home in Wasilla, Alaska. Marcella was a proud wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend to many.
Marcella is preceded in death by her father Marvin Milbrett, brother, Michael Milbrett, sister, Sandra Harris and grandson Scott Bennett Dale, and brother in-laws Herb and Dale Wilbur.
Marcella is survived by her Mother Nora Milbrett, husband Carl of 54 years, daughter Colene Gardner (Tim), Jim (Denise); Troy (Christie);10 Grandchildren and five Great grandchildren; six sisters Loretta, Elise, LaVonne, Bonnie, Wendy, and LoAnn; four brothers Gerry, Ron, Larry and Brian. Along with many Nieces and Nephews.
A Potluck Celebration Of Life will be on July 29, 2017 at 3 p.m. at the Wasilla VFW Hall on Knik Road. Please bring your favorite dish or a favorite of Marcella's and join us in celebrating the wonderful life of our beloved Marcella Wilbur.
