Margaret A. Little, alias Marge, Punky or Ding Ding, passed away on July 11, 2014, in Sun City, Arizona. What a grand lady.
She was born to John and Agnes Reed on Sept. 3, 1934, in Hays, Kansas. Moved to Palmer in 1938 and grew up there. She did a lot of traveling around the world and lived in Oregon, California and Arizona.
She was so much fun, never knew a stranger, a keeper of friends and always helping others. Her oil paintings of Alaska, the Oregon Coast and the desert are beautiful. Her cooking skills were amazing. Don’t think she ever missed anything fun, and had a great full life.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Dwight (Whitey) Pullen; son, Johnny D. Pullen; husband, Ray A. Little; and brother, Johnny Bob Reed.
Surviving are her daughter, Metta Marino of Carelton, Oregon; grandson, Casey Palmer of Portland, Oregon; sister, Sally Worledge of Palmer; her devoted companion, Louis Garcia; and beloved dog, Isabella of Sun City West; and lots of incredible cousins, nieces, nephews and friends. Per her wishes, no services are planned.
However, we are having a surprise 80th birthday party for her from 4 to 8 p.m., Sept. 3, at her sister Sally’s home, 1600 Springer Loop. Potluck; she loved food. For more information, call 745-7500. If unable to attend, please say a prayer, or Ding Ding for her that day.
Turn at the Seventh-day Adventist church a ½ mile down Springer Loop. Watch for balloons marking a driveway on the left-hand side.
