Maria Elena Sosa died April 1, 2012, in San Angelo, Texas, in car accident. She moved to San Angelo about three years ago, and had lived in Alaska for more than 30 years prior.
Her clientele at the Summer Wasilla Market knew her for her charisma and her friendly wit.
A celebration of life is from 5 to 8 p.m., May 19 at the Curtis D. Menard Memorial Sports Center in Wasilla.
The family wishes to thank everyone for all their support, including her daughter, Maria Elena Gonzales and companion Adolfo Herrera; son, Emanuel Rodriguez and Philys; her loving neighbor, Rubby Dinning; and the Fernandez and the Wendland families.
