Marilyn Ruth Tuel
Passed away in November 2019 at age 64 from heart complications. She was born Marilyn Miller, the only girl with four brothers. She spent her days volunteering at hospitals and working at a drive in theater where she met her soulmate Mike Tuel. They started dating but Mike wanted to drive to Alaska in hopes of getting work on the slope. So when he does just that and Marilyn realizes he’s not coming back, she left Oregon and all she knew to go to Alaska where she has never been before, but she does and she finds him. Soon after that came two boys and a marriage at Santa’s workshop in Fairbanks. They fell in love with each other and Alaska which became there home and they never left again. Marilyn found work at Wal-mart in anchorage the first day it opened and worked there ever since. She volunteered to feed the hungry on Christmas and she gave all she could to anyone who needed it. Both Mike and Marilyn will be missed by everyone who crossed their paths. Their 2 kids will be spreading their ashes this spring. Let us pray for them; Rest in Peace.
