Mark Even Thompson
Mark Even Thompson passed away peacefully on March 16th, 2021, with his wife, Judy, by his side at their home in Palmer, Alaska.
Mark was born on October 23rd, 1947, to Evelyn and Robert Thompson in Bemidji, Minnesota. After graduating West High School in 1965, he spent six years in the National Guard.
It was in New Mexico that Mark married Judy Thompson in 1978. In 1981, Mark and Judy moved to Palmer, Alaska, where he began his 25 year career with Lynden Transport driving truck. Mark retired at an early age of 57 from Lynden Transport, which allowed him to spend time with family.
Mark is survived by his sons, Michael and Martin; and grandchildren, Cole Thompson, Mikayla Thompson, Riley Thompson, Jaxon Thompson, Adisyn Thompson, Neal Thompson, Ethan Thompson, and Lauren Thompson. He was preceded in death by his mom, Evelyn Thompson; dad, Robert Thompson; and daughter, Elke (Thompson) Carter.
Mark will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
Services will be held at a later date.
