Mark “Guitar Mark” Roberts, 60, passed away October 14th, 2021, surrounded by loved ones in his home.

A celebration of life will be held at Mug-Shot Saloon, 251 W Parks Hwy, Wasilla AK at 1:00 PM on Saturday, October 23rd, 2021.

Mark was born on January 5th, 1961 in Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania to Alice Russomanó and Gerald Roberts.

Mark was an avid songwriter and phenomenal guitar player. His words and music are now a comfort to those left behind: “I don’t really know just where I’ve been or what’s been going on. Somewhere along the line, I’ve lost some time, Oh, where has it gone? People come and people go, how are we to choose? It’s just the life of a Yonder Man wandering with no shoes. But you know I’m on my way back home. And it’s going to be a long way home.”

Mark is survived by his devoted wife and soulmate, Camille Heilman of Wasilla, Alaska, his daughters; Randi Wild of Wasilla, Alaska, Jennifer Roberts of Missouri and their mother, Drenda Williams of Wasilla, Alaska, his sister, Debbie MacDonald, brother-in-law Brian MacDonald and their daughter Katie MacDonald of Florida, his sister Kathy Kaiser and her partner Kris Schuler of Pennsylvania, Kathy’s children Alicia and Joseph Kaiser, Bonaventure “Pops” Russomanó, his uncle James Watkins and the Kennedy Family of New Jersey.

Mark was preceded in death by his mother, Alice Russomanó and his father, Gerald Roberts.

He will be cremated, and his ashes will be spread in Homer, Alaska.
