Marvie was born on June 6th, 1943 in Kimberly, Nevada to Sidney Marvie McCarrell and Lena Eliza Capson. He was the 5th of 6 children and was the only boy. Marvie loved hunting, fishing and camping with his wife Connie in their RV. For many years they entertained family and friends, fishing on the Kenai River and he loved it. They would travel to the lower 48 and meet all sorts of people and have a lot of fun in their RV. Their journeys would take them to Arizona, California, Idaho, Nevada and Washington to see their friends and family. Marvie was a true friend and was loved by all. Marvie is survived by his 3 children, Dean and his wife Marcia McCarrell of Yuma, Arizona, Dwight McCarrell of Midvale, Utah and DoriLyn and her husband Michael Brock of Olympia, Washington. His 3 loving grandchildren, Denny McCarrell, Christy McCarrell and Kelli Cales and his 2 loving sisters, Marlene Rogers and Barbra Foster. Marvie is proceeded in death by his wife of more than 50 years, Connie; 3 sisters, Vivian, Fern and Joann as well as his parents, Sidney Marvie and Lena Eliza. There will be a celebration of life for Marvie on June 4th 2022, 1 PM at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 821 E. Dellwood St, Wasilla, AK.
