Mary Agnus Anderson Knutson
Mary Knutson, born April 29, 1939, passed away peacefully on March 31, 2021.
Mary had a big heart and never met a child she didn’t love. Her greatest joy was her grandchildren and her many great grandchildren. Mary loved Christmas, which was evident in the amazing award-winning decorations that filled their home both inside and out, warming the hearts of all who visited and passed by.
Mary loved flowers and the color red. She was an active member of the Red Hat Society, The Wasilla Homemakers Association, and was a faithful volunteer at the political polls for many years. Mary will be missed by many.
Mary is preceded in death by her parents, Roy and Esther Anderson; and her grandson, Justin Joseph Jacobs.
Mary is survived by her beloved husband of 49 years, William Knutson; brother, Gordon (Kay) Anderson; children, Rick Jacobs, Charles (Dawn) Jacobs, Thomas Jacobs, Matt (Terrie) Knutson, and Randy Knutson; and many grandchildren and great grandchildren.
A Celebration of Life will be held Saturday, April 24, 2021, at 2:00 pm at the Elks Lodge off of Bogard Road.
