Mary Lou Gerhardt, 78, died Sept. 3, 2012, at Mat-Su Regional Medical Center in Palmer.
The family will hold a private celebration of life.
Mary was born Oct. 16, 1933, in Groveland, Ill., to Henry and Nora Kidder. She became an Alaska resident in 1969. She was a member of the Baptist Church and a devoted wife and mother.
The family wrote, “Forever in our hearts.”
