My earth angel went home on Thursday afternoon, October 17, 2019.
She passed peacefully after a long battle with lung disease. Mary touched every heart she encountered. Those who knew her adored her heart, beauty, laughter, and immense compassion. She will be deeply missed. I’ve thanked God for letting me be her soul mate.
She is survived by her husband Philip, her sister Jackie Sangster of Iowa City, IA, and her three sons: Tim Hansen of Milwaukee, WI, twins Kevin Hansen of Park Ridge, IL, and Matthew Hansen of Washington state.
Her ashes have been spread on the property she loved.
Two of Mary’s favorite charities are St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital and Shriners Children’s Hospital, if you want to donate to one of them, or a charity of your choice, in lieu of flowers or cards.
