Retiring teacher, coach urges Colony grads to ‘find their 68’

Matthew David Wodkowski (Matt Woe), of Wasilla, passed away at his home in Anchorage on Feb. 27, 2016.
He leaves behind a son, Izaiah Wodkowski, of Alaska; mother, Dawn Patterson, and stepfather, Donald Kendricks, of Alaska; brothers, Jacob Wodkowski, Andrew Wodkowski, Nicholas Patterson, Robert McHugh and Charles McHugh, of Alaska, and Daniel Patterson, of Washington; and a sister, Sherri Patterson, of Oregon. He also leaves behind many aunts, uncles, grandparents, nephew nieces and cousins. He was preceded in death by his father and grandfather.
A 2 p.m. viewing and 3 p.m. service will be held at Wasilla Heritage Chapel in Wasilla, Alaska, on March 4, 2016. A celebration of Matthew’s life will take place at another location after the service has concluded, details available at the service.
Matthew will never be forgotten, carried in our hearts forever. This shall not be goodbye, but until we meet again!
