Maxine E. Stickles, 64, died Nov. 20, 2013, at the Hospice of the Ozarks Hospice House in Mountain Home, Ark. She was born March 3, 1949, in Seaford, Del., to Eligha and Mabel Elliott.
Memorial services were Nov. 22 at Clinkingbeard Funeral Home in Gainesville, Mo.
Maxine had a zest for life that included many friends in many places, including Gainesville as well as Wasilla and Delmar, Del.
“She traveled the world and was loved and respected wherever she was. She will be missed by all who knew her,” her family wrote.
Surviving are her husband, Robert Stickles; son, Robert Stickles III; daughter, Dawn Wells; granddaughter, Delaney Wells; and her older sister, Irene Carey.
Preceding her in death were her parents and her older sister, Jan Knode.
