Melissa Raymonda Crockett-Felthauser, 73 years of age, of Palmer, AK, passed away on May 25, 2018, peacefully at home. A Celebration of Life will be held at 4pm on June 30 at 5376 E Edgerton Parks Rd., Palmer, AK. A memorial will be held, followed by a potluck and shared memories around the bonfire. You may contact Paul at 746-5145 or Susanne at 232-6844. All are welcome. Melissa (R.C.) was born in Salem, OR on January 3, 1945. She shared 35 years with her partner, Paul Felthauser. She was a homemaker and a member of the Palmer Lions Club for many years. She always had an open door for anyone in need of a meal or a safe place to go. Melissa was preceded in death by her father, James L Sandlin; mother Alberta B Capshaw-Sandlin; son James Seymour and her eldest sister, Jaime Drennon. She is survived by her spouse, Paul Felthauser; brother, George Sandlin; sisters, Susan Rott and Annalee Koruna; daughters, Tarzy Dale, Susanne Banfield, Rebecca Pruess; son, David Crockett, grandchildren, Anthony, Hytham, Justen, Christina, Jonathan, Dylan, Daniel, Vanessa, Melissa Alexis, Owen, Alana, Alexander, Vlad, Kaley, and Destiny; great grandchildren, Kiera, Addison, Ruqiyyah, Alex Jr, Hayden, Emma, Joshua, James, Brayden, and Travis; and her adopted son, David Stolberg.
