Meredith G. Baker, 77, of Wasilla, was met at Heaven’s door by her best friend, Arlene, at 11:20 p.m., Dec. 21, in Palmer. She was born Sept. 8, 1931 in Iowa to Joseph M. and Hazel (McBride) Gallagher.
Meredith leaves behind her three children, Tony Malaspina (Diane), Joseph Baker (Robin) of Big Lake and her daughter Julie Hale of Everett, Wash. She also leaves behind her very special niece, Lisa Eisneberg (Eric), and their two children Max and Zev plus one on the way, her five wonderful grandchildren, Shane, Nicole, Blake, Eddie, Crystal and Brian, as well nine precious great-grandchildren. She was a very special mother, grandmother and true friend too many.
At her request, there will not be a service, but we ask that you remember her memory and celebrate her Life. A Celebration of Life will be held in Big Lake with family and friends.
Arrangements were entrusted to Valley Funeral Home - Wasilla.
