Michael David Street passed away on Nov. 26, 2015, at his home in Anchorage, Alaska. Michael was 42 years old. Born on Sept. 12, 1973, Michael was a lifelong Alaskan who loved wood-working and computers. He worked as a network analyst for GCI for 14 years. His family writes “Mike was a wonderful father, husband and friend. He was highly respected by his co-workers and will be greatly missed.”
Michael is survived by his wife, Cynthia Carol Street; sons, Michael Adam Street and Mason Nathanel Street; sisters, Jennifer Mahlen and Kathryn Stephenson; mother, Ann Elizabeth Garrett; father, David Street; niece, Allison Grace Mahlen; and brothers-in-law, Jason Stephenson and Charlie Mahlen. Michael is preceded in death by his nephew, Billy Redman.
Michael’s memorial service will take place on Monday, Dec. 7, 2015, at 1 p.m. at Janssen’s Mat-Su Funeral Home; 6901 E Blue Lupine Drive, Palmer, Alaska, 99645.
