Michael Wayne Padgett, 66, died, March 19, 2022, at home in Wasilla, Alaska.
He was born May 22, 1955, in Forest City, North Carolina. His family moved to Anchorage, Alaska where he met and married Haidee Marie Padgett and eventually moved to Wasilla where they raised their sons Michael and Christopher Padgett.
Michael was an oil field worker and a truck driver and worked on the North Slope. He loved his family. He loved to be on his boat on the Kenai River and spent a lot of time at the Alaska Raceway watching his son, Christopher, drag race.
He was preceded in death by his parents Fred and Greta Padgett and is survived by his sons, Michael and Christopher Padgett; siblings, Louis Hebert, Kelly Hebert, Keith Hebert, and Nancy Huvel.
A Celebration of Life service will be held at Janssen Funeral Homes 6901 E Blue Lupine Dr. Palmer, Alaska on June 25th, 2022, at 1:00pm.
