Michele Pamer, 73, of Anchorage, Alaska, passed away July 30, 2022, after a short, unexpected illness at Providence Hospital.
Michele was born in Akron, Ohio on December 31, 1948, to William and Josephine Pamer. She graduated from Arizona State University in 1971 with a degree in Speech Pathology. After graduation, she worked in Arizona area schools as Speech Pathologist for 11 years.
Moving to Anchorage in 1982, Michele started her Alaska career in Bethel as a Consultant for Social Services and Iditarod School District, then as a Speech Pathologist for the Matanuska-Susitna School District from 1983-2003. After retiring from the school district, she continued her life of service working for Home Instead Senior Care where she was a valued home care provider and employee.
Michele was predeceased by her parents and brothers William and Charles. She is survived by sister-in-law Betty Pamer, numerous nieces and nephews and good friend and traveling companion Patricia Larue.
Memorial services will be held at Sunset Hills Baptist Church on August 27th, 2022 at 1 PM. In lieu of flowers, donations in Michele’s name may be made to a favorite charity.
