Retiring teacher, coach urges Colony grads to ‘find their 68’

Nancy Lanore Baldwin Wyatt, 73, passed away at Mat-Su Regional Medical Center on 10/21/2024.
Nancy was born February 10, 1951 in Kellogg, Idaho to Vilas and Thelma Baldwin.
She moved to Alaska in September 1978, first living in Willow then moving to Palmer. She married husband Dennis Wyatt October 14, 1983. Nancy was employed at the Mat-Su Regional Hospital as a financial counsellor where she helped many families with charity care, retiring in 2008.
Nancy enjoyed hunting, fishing, gardening, sewing, snowmachining, cross-stitch and bowling. Nancy also enjoyed volunteering her time to everyone in need. She was a loving mother, grandmother and friend to all she had in her life.
She was a devout Christian, attending Pioneer Peak Baptist Church with Pastor Richard Marsh. She was also a member of the Moose Lodge, Elks Lodge and the American Legion. A well decorated member of the community since 1984. She has achieved many life goals.
Nancy is survived by her daughter Kimberlly R Moser, of Palmer, and her three sons: Mark Lords, Zackary Lords and Keith Lords. Grandchildren: Christopher Hartman, Micheal Moser, Mercedes Moser, Sage Brown. Great-grandchildren: Cassius, Jocelyn, Eli, Logan, Kaden, Revver, Gunner, Isabel, Chloe, Millie, Azariah, Alanis and Waylen.
The family would like to invite you to attend her service on Friday, November 1st at 2:00 p.m. at the First Baptist Church of Palmer. In lieu of flowers the family would like donations to go to the First Baptist Church of Palmer.
