Nicole Noel Ver Kuilen passed away unexpectedly on March 31st, 2024 in Palmer, Alaska at 48 years old.
Born Nicole Noel to her loving parents Jim and Judy Nelson. Nicole Ver Kuilen was a vibrant and intoxicating soul. Her love of laughter and her infectious smile were known to light up a room.
Nikki was a fervent lover of nature and the outdoors enjoying swimming, biking, surfing, skating, backpacking, fishing, skiing, and much more.
She met her beloved husband Adam in Whitefish, Montana, and received her teaching degree in Special Education at University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh. After moving to Alaska, she became the Adaptive PE Teacher for the Mat-Su School District.
She is survived by her two dear daughters, Ella and April; her husband, Adam Ver Kuilen; her mother and father, Jim and Judy Nelson; her three siblings - Sherry Sears, Greg Sears, and Angela Clark; and many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and friends!
