Former Wasilla resident Norma Anne 'Meanne' Malek passed away suddenly in Corvallis, Oregon on Monday, February 11,2019. She was 48 years old.
Meanne was born in Ketchikan, Alaska to Irvin LeRoy 'Roy' and Donna Wagoner. She lived in many Alaskan communities, including Wasilla, before leaving the state and settling in Lincoln City, OR where she lived with her best fried Sandra Shell and their many pets. Meanne drove truck for many years before injuries forced her to quit. Most recently, she worked under the pseudonym Martha as an independent consultant in her daughter's online pearl business, Wish Upon a Treasure. She loved the water and was an avid fisherperson. Ocean, river or lake, if there were fish to catch, Meanne would be there.
Meanne is preceded in death by her grandson Caelum; her husband Anthony Malek; her parents; and grandparents.
She is survived by her children & their families: Chelsea McLellan, Kenneth McLellan, Brittnea Workman and stepson Michael Malek; by her brothers & their families: Randall Kilbourne, Mark Kilbourne, Roy Wagoner, and Rodney Holloway; by her sisters & their families: ReNee Wagoner and Rachelle Anderson; & a multitude of extended family.
The family held n 80's themed beach party at Taft Beach in Oregon, as was her wish.
