Norman’s dream of going to Alaska, inspired by his third grade teacher, was fulfilled in 1977 when the opportunity arose for he and his family to move to Alaska. The family enjoyed years of camping, fishing, winter activities, and exploring. After a career in data processing he retired and started a handyman business and built their current home in Palmer. Norman was a very energetic person who was always finding new avenues and ways of improving how things were used. Norman was appreciated by many in his willingness to teach and mentor. After cremation a private celebration of life will be held later by the family. Donations can be made to: Alaska Solstice Search Dogs, 2311 S. Carr St. Wasilla, AK 99654.
