PALMER — City voters emphatically said “yes” to a trio of propositions on this year’s municipal ballot.
By a margin of 73 percent 454 votes to 168), voters have changed the residency requirement to run for council from three years to one. They also approved changes to the city council’s procedures 406 to 106.
Finally, voters approved a $2 million bond debt for the city to improve its water utility. That result was 346 to 179.
