Born July 21, 1938, Patricia moved to Alaska at age 12 in 1950. She was most currently a resident of Big Lake.

Patricia found beauty in everything in life. She was, and still is, the heart of her family, always bringing joy and happiness to everyone. She was a giving and inspiring woman, keeping her traditions and thoughts living throughout her family is so important to all. She was an amazing artist even with the little things like birthday cards and handmade crafts. She loved painting portraits of her family and Alaska sceneries. She loved to garden. Her porch wrapped around her home was always covered in colorful petunias, nasturtiums and geraniums.

She was a devoted wife who loved her husband, Bertam, with all of her heart and soul. She was also mother of a son and daughter who loved her unconditionally. She loved her four granddaughters and four great-grandchildren (and one on the way).

Patricial is survived by her husband, Bertram J. Smith of Big Lake; son, William A. Sharp of Clear Water, Fla.; daughter, Sandi J. Truex of Anchorage; granddaughters, Adrienne A. Guthrie of Aliso Viejo, Calif., Amber M. Truex of Girdwodd, and Alexandra G. Sharp and Sara A. Sheets of Anchorage; great-grandsons, Aiden R. Fin of Girdwood and Maximus D. Fin of Anchorage; and great-granddaughters, Taylor A. Guthrie of Aliso Viejo, Calif., and Alyeska R. Fin of Anchorage.
