It was there she met and married Joseph Berberich, who brought their family of nine to Alaska in 1975. Pat will be remembered for countless kindnesses and for her winning and genuine smile that always made you feel warm and special. She loved to bake cookies and spend time with her friends and family. During her brief stay in the hospital, her family was blessed to rally around her providing tender care, strength, and most of all, lots of love. She was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph; and grandson Kurtis Arcala. She is survived by her children, Betsy, Joe, Don, John, Steve, Tony, and Tom; 17 grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. A potluck and celebration of her life will be held on June 25, 2016, at 4 p.m. Palmer, Alaska, at the family home.
