Patricia Kathleen Peterson, 36, died June 29, 2012, following a long illness at Mat-Su Regional Hospital in Palmer with her mother by her side.
A service is at 9 a.m., July 23 at the Sacred Heart Church, 1201 E. Bogard Road, Wasilla. Father Scott Joseph Garret will officiate. Patricia’s ashes will be taken to the family cabin outside of Trapper Creek.
Patricia was born July 23, 1975, to David and Diane Luke at Hill Air Force Base, Utah. She went to high school in Palmer and accomplished two years of college.
Patricia became an Alaska resident in December 1981. Her city of residence was Wasilla, but she has also lived in Palmer and Anchorage from 1986 to 2012.
Patty’s primary career was with FedEx, where she was a respected and liked courier. Patty enjoyed her children, the outdoors, hunting, fishing, camping, boating the ocean, crafts, music and being with family and friends.
Surviving are husband, Wade Peterson; sons, Hunter and Bjorn; parents, David and Dianne Luke; sisters, Dawn Hodson, Michele Hoadley, and Theresa Luke; and numerous extended family and friends.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Alaska Dog and Puppy Rescue in her name.
