Retiring teacher, coach urges Colony grads to ‘find their 68’

Patricia Marie Bosch, 78, longtime Mat-Su resident, died on Aug. 22, 2010 at her home in Big Lake.
Patricia was born Nov. 15, 1931 in Grand Rapids, Mich. She moved to Alaska with her husband and their children in 1969. Patricia and her husband, Gerald, were self-employed most of their lives and owned numerous businesses together.
Her family wrote “Patricia loved her home on the lake, sitting on her deck, enjoying every moment of her yard and flowers, and getting her hair done twice a week. She would bling, bling anything she could get her hands on. She enjoyed family gatherings on the lake, and was a wonderful cook. Patricia was a very loving and put everyone else before her. She was an amazing wife, mother and grandmother and friend. She will be greatly missed.”
A memorial service will be held 4 to 6 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 1, at the Valley Funeral Home, 151 E. Herning Ave. in Wasilla, followed by a celebration of life at Nancy Meehan’s home at 5.5 Wasilla Fishhook Road, left on Birch Park Circle, first house on the left.
Those who attend are asked to bring favorite photos of Patricia to share.
Arrangements were with Valley Funeral Home and Crematory in Wasilla.
