Long time Alaskan, amazing wife, Mom and best Grandma ever Patricia Ohlinger, 77, passed away April 29, 2022 at Maple Springs Living in Wasilla.
A service will be held at St. Michael Catholic Church, 432 E. Fireweed Ave. in Palmer on Friday May 6, 2022 during the 12:10pm mass. There will be a small reception following. Her ashes will be interred with her oldest son, Philip Ohlinger Jr., who passed away in 2007, at Sacred Heart Cemetery in Wasilla.
Pat was born November 30, 1944 in Olympia, WA. to John and Ida Shea. She married Philip “Lee” Ohlinger July 1, 1967 and they enjoyed 55 years together. Pat enjoyed spending time with her family, spoiling her grandchildren and talking for hours on the phone to her many friends.
Pat is survived by her husband Lee; her son, James; daughter, Amy; daughter-in-law, April; son-in-law, Tim and five grandchildren, Timothy, Ashleigh, Charlotte, Olivia and David. Her surviving siblings include brothers, James, Jay, David, Ronnie, Joe and sister, Marie. Pat was preceded in death by her oldest son, Philip L. Ohlinger Jr. and siblings, Bernard, Betty, and Jerome.
In lieu of flowers the family is asking for donations to Special Olympics of Alaska.
