Patricia (Trish) Mendisabal passed away peacefully at the Palmer Veterans and Pioneer Home on March 2, 2025. Trish arrived in Alaska 51 years ago to accept a job in the fishing industry, fell in love with Alaska and never left.
Trish is survived by two brothers, Don Stonach of Seattle, Washington, Robert Scott of Buckley, Washington, and two sisters, Eloise Otten, of Sumner, Washington and Tina Schoeder, of Beloit, Wisconsin. She is also survived by her daughter, Christina Mulliner of Renton, Washington, five grandchildren, eight great grandchildren, and many friends.
The family wishes to thank the Palmer Veterans and Pioneer Home staff for their excellent care of Trish. And special friends, Donald and Jean Snovel and Joan Campbell for their long-time friendship and assistance over the years.
