Patrick Cohen, 76, died Feb. 26, 2012, at his son’s home in Glacierview. Interment is March 2 with the family present. A memorial gathering for family and friends is at 3 p.m., March 6 at Chapel by the Sea in Anchorage.
Pat lived faithfully for the Lord. He obeyed God’s call from 1960 to 2012 to translate the Bible into hitherto unwritten languages.
Surviving are his wife of 43 years, Nancy; brother, Robert; son Dave; daughter-in-law, Jackie; daughter, Quynh; son-in-law David; grandchildren, Tina, Trayton, Malachi, Brooke, Clayton, Dawson, Keeley and Chloe; great-grandson, Teagan; brother and sister-in-law, James and Lynda Howison; nephews and niece, Russell, Scott, Kendra with baby Elizabeth; cousins, Pat Babcock and Jeannette Wrede; niece, Karen; nephew, Martin; and aunt, Charlotte Wilbur.
He is greatly loved and missed by all who knew him, including a multitude of southeast Asians.
