Retiring teacher, coach urges Colony grads to ‘find their 68’

Longtime Alaska resident Patrick Sean O’Hara, 25, of Palmer passed away on Aug. 28, 2014, at his home.
Patrick was born Dec. 19, 1988, in East Point, Georgia. He moved to Chickaloon in 2000.
Patrick’s family would like to express how their memories of him include his love for his family, his sense of humor, his intelligence, and interest in astronomy, fishing and camping. He always concentrated on solutions instead of problems.
Surviving are his daughter, Kassandra O’Hara of Big Lake; his son, Patrick T. O’Hara of Big Lake; his mother, Lesa W. O’Hara, of Palmer; his sister, Lauren McIver-O’Hara, of Big Lake; his brother, Christopher O’Hara, of Palmer; and his father, Michael Sean O’Hara, of Georgia.
Preceding him in death were his grandparents, Patrick and Helen O’Hara and Bill and Billie Whitfield.
Patrick’s ashes will be primarily scattered by his family at Hatcher Pass. His remaining ashes will be sent into outer space.
