Retiring teacher, coach urges Colony grads to ‘find their 68’

Paul Bush, 49, of Wasilla passed away May 1, 2014, in Garrison, North Dakota. He was a loving son, brother, and father who adored his children, Valerie, Wyatt, and granddaughter Elaine. He was an avid hunter and fisherman.
Paul graduated from Wasilla High School and served in the Air National Guard from 1988-93. Paul worked on the North Slope and in North Dakota. He was loved and respected by everyone who knew him, and will be greatly missed.
Preceding him in death was his mother, Mattie Mae. Survivors include his daughter and son, Valerie and Wyatt Bush; granddaughter, Elaine; his father, Jack Bush; a sister, Peggy Lafe; brothers, Billy and Anthony Burkett, Malcom and Melvin Bush; and many, many friends.
Funeral services are at 2 p.m., May 12 at Valley Funeral Home, 151 East Herning Ave., Wasilla. Burial will follow at the Wasilla-Aurora Cemetery. Everyone is welcome to attend.
