Paul LaMarr Scott, 57, died Oct. 14, 2012, in Palmer.
Paul was born Nov. 4, 1954, in California. He grew up in Eastern Oregon then joined the U.S. Navy.
He raced dirt bikes, mined gold, served as a ski patrol officer and was a member of the Palmer Moose Lodge, where he served as an officer, wrote the newsletter and volunteered his services to the community.
He worked at Lazy Buffalo in Palmer until his death. His love of the outdoors drew him to Alaska more than two decades ago.
A celebration of life is from 1 to 3 p.m., Nov. 4 at the Palmer Moose Lodge, 1136 S. Cobb St.
